What is the best way to have a portfolio page's featured image on the home page (and of course link to a portfolio page)?

It would work the same way the "featured page" widget works in the "home top" section. (I would think this is easy but for some reason nothing has worked for me.)

    Thank you for any help.

Install the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified which supports Custom Post Types or add the image HTML directly into a text widget.

Thanks a lot Brad. I was looking for the lazy way (vs html in text widget) so Featured Widget Amplified seems like the way to go. Appreciate the help. - Greg
