Executive Pro CTA Color Change

I have changed CSS to change the Exec Pro CTA color as follows:

.executive-pro-home .home-cta {
background-color: #088;
color: #ddd;
float: left;
padding: 60px;
width: 100%

After updating the file, there is no change when displaying the website home page. Does changing the background color require more than simply changing the color hex?

Please post a link to the site. The code you posted above is broken. There's no closing bracket or semi-colon after the width. That code won't execute.

Thank you Victor. The site is not released yet. Sorry, I simply didn't copy the brackets. The code is:

background-color: #008080;
color: #ddd;
float: left;
padding: 60px;
width: 100%
}

Any suggestions?

That's the way to do it. Make sure all caching software is disabled when you make CSS changes otherwise the style.css might not update. You might also try holding down the shift key when you refresh the page.

I found an issue in ExecPro with a missing semicolon and it is right here on this page even... width: 100% missing semi...... I discovered this a while ago and reported it but there has been no update or follow up from Studio Press...
