Exclude most recent post from loop

Hello, I am looking to exclude the most recent post on this site: http://192.232.207.96/~simple1/
from the loop. Basically, I want the most recent post to appear in full, without the "read more" and featured image excerpt, and the rest of the posts to appear as they are set now, with featured image and content excerpt. I have Genesis Simple Hooks installed and was hoping for some code I can add to Simple Hooks, thanks in advance!

Please copy the code from the view raw link and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a text editor like Notepad++

Hey Brad thanks so much for the code, it worked great, only thing, I don't think I was clear in my initial post about what I want to do, sorry for that. On this page (which has a lot going on, I know): http://www.inspiredbycharm.com/ ,the most recent post appears in full, and then below it, the rest of the posts with the featured image and post excerpt. So what I was hoping to do is exclude the most recent post from having the Content Archives settings I have set up in Genesis settings (post excerpt and featured image) applied I probably did not explain myself well, and I also found a $6 recent posts plugin that I can probably just pop in below the first post, so it's not a huge deal, just was curious if it can be done. Thanks again.
