ParticipantHello everyone. I am in need of a little bit of assistance with the Essence Pro Theme (a Genesis framework / Studio Press theme). I want to have the logo on the same line as the menu and search feature for desktop only but I cannot figure out the code to do it. Can anyone help me with this? I may have to reduce the logo but I am sure my client won't mind. The mobile version is ok but on the desktop version the menu is down too low.

KeymasterThe only thing I know of right now coded to do that is a PAID tutorial by @sridhar-katakam here - https://sridharkatakam.com/logo-at-the-left-and-nav-menu-at-the-right-in-essence-pro/. His site is a PAID membership site. He just recently published that on the 12th.

ParticipantHmmmmmm...well hopefully someone in the group can help out. I don't have any money to pay for an answer. There used to be some amazing people on here years ago (I haven't been on in such a long time) and I am hoping they're still here and can help out.

Keymaster@wanita there still are a lot of amazing people here. Some might not have the skill set to provide that service to you. But this is here for others to chime in. I hope someone can help you.

ParticipantI have the same problem. I followed the links, but I'm not a coder and I didn't understand much. I guess Genesis themes are more for technicians than end users. Is there any resource to apply step by step?

KeymasterTheme designers design their themes based on what they want to provide to the end user. There's no way a designer can anticipate that the person purchasing their theme will want to make specific customizations to that theme. What you are asking for is to take the theme you purchased and turn it basically into something else. The theme(s) are not flawed in any way and work as expected. The buyer/end user just wants to change some things and those things requiring a bit of coding knowledge.

ParticipantThank you, Anita,
in a forum like this in the "design tips" section I thought I'd find a technical answer, maybe a little code to apply the change I need. I didn't want to take anything away from who created the theme, I just wanted to solve some of my needs.
Thanks -
