I can't find a plugin or code that will display the words "Type your city" on a 'button', and as soon as you do, a dropdown menu of cities you want to appear will drop down, and the one you finish typing or select in the dropdown will replace the words "Type your city". So basically a City Lookup plugin. I want to place this in a widget in the header, so can you tell me how to do that too?

A drop down is a form element. You need to create a a simple form and add it to a text widget in header-right.

Thank you Victor. However, I need the user to be able to enter their desired city in the field, so it's not just a drop down select menu. Do you know where I can find out how to do that?
    Thanks

It's done with a standard drop down and a little jQuery: https://jqueryui.com/autocomplete/

Thanks again Victor. I did actually find another solution. First I added a Search Form to the widget. Then I installed a plugin called "SearchAutocomplete". In the Settings, I changed the Search Field Selector to name = "#s".
