Blog page shows [...] at end of teasers, but doesn't work...link to anything. Using Genesis Grid Loop plugin.

Also, is there a method to easily create teaser description to replace default first whatever characters from the blog post?

    Thanks,
    mike

This will help with your ellipses: http://victorfont.com/how-to-change-the-wordpress-read-more-text/

As for the teaser, WordPress allows you to create a manual excerpt. When a post has no manual excerpt a, WordPress generates an excerpt automatically by selecting the first 55 words of the post. In Genesis, you have your choice to use either the automatic excerpt of x number of character from the content. If you create a manual excerpt, that's the one that will display when you have Genesis set to display excerpts.

To create a manual excerpt, click the Screen Options button on the upper right of the admin screen and make sure excerpt is checked. Scroll down the page and you will see the meta box for excerpts.
