    I set up featured posts in the home bottom widget of the Daily Dish Pro theme. The black dash is showing and I can't figure out why. It's set up per the instructions. Any clues?

    Are you talking about the little mark that separates posts? If so, it's this CSS from style.css at line 1823:

    .page .content .entry-header::after, .single .content .entry-header::after {
        border-bottom: 1px solid
        #000;
        content: "";
        display: block;
        margin: 0 auto 40px;
        padding-bottom: 30px;
        width: 2.5%;
    }

    Hello!

    I see the CSS in your post, but how do you hide that from showing up when using the widgets for the homepage? Thanks so much! How would I hide it so that there's not a lot of space between it and the excerpt text? If I change the bar to white there's a lot of space between the metadata and the excerpt text.
