    I want to darken the text color throughout my site. How do I do that? Do I have to make a child theme to adjust the editor? I really hope not!

    Thanks for your help,
    Diane

    Learn how to use your browser's built-in inspection tool. Right click on the element you want changed to see the CSS that controls the color. https://victorfont.com/how-to-use-your-browsers-inspect-tool/

    Hi Diane,

    In line 145 of your style.css theme, make the changes to the code that's in bold below:

    body {
    color: #494949;
    font-family: 'Droid Sans', sans-serif;
    font-size: 16px;
    font-weight: 300;
    line-height: 1.625;
    }

    This will darken your text!
