    I am using Genesis Simple Edits to customise the entry meta to display as shown below:

    Published: [post_date] By [post_author_posts_link] Last Updated: [post_modified_date]

    However the Footer Credits Text I need to customise and I want to include a link to my Privacy Policy however the HTML ahref tag does not work within this section.

    If I try to use a snippet in functions.php to customise the footer credits, then the Simple Edits overwrites the snippet. If I get rid of Simple Edits where can I find a snippet that will let you display the entry meta as shown above?

    Simple Edits shouldn't have a problem with adding a link. I use links on all my sites using Simple edits. Make sure you check "Modify Entire Footer Text (including markup)?"

    Initially, I tried using the above option but it was giving me errors. I have tried it again now and it is working. Thank you.
