    "Trying to customize" doesn't explain what you want to accomplish. Would you please be more specific?

    I would like the front page content to stretch horizontally across the screen and be flush with site header vertically.

    Look style.css at line 201. Your .site-inner has a max-width set to 720px. Change that to 100%.

    Thanks everyone. I gave up. When I made the changes safari didn't update though it did in Chrome and Firefox. I'll try another theme.

    You need to force the reload of the style sheet in some browsers because of their caching. That's going to happen with any theme. Hold down the shift key while you refresh the page.

    Peresh, You can adjust the width to whatever number of pixels you find aesthetically pleasing. You choice is a fixed number of pixels or a percentage of screen width.

    @pareshking

    Change your .site-inner max-width: 720px;

    Your max-width now is 100%.

    Rahmat Sir,

    If i changes .site inner max width to 720 px then front page is getting smaller.

    FYI. i changed max-width just to overcome front page width issue (see the answer of Victor Sir)

    Can you please suggest possible solution.

    @pareshking

    If you want to make like Brian Gardner site, you have to build your own front-page.php
    Add classes .front-page in your front-page.php or anything name you like.

    And add CSS code.

    .front-page .site-inner {
    max-width: 100%;
    padding: 0;
    }

    The BG Bold master just for example.
    I think that is a STARTER THEME.
    You can't have exactly like briangardner.com if don't tweak it.
