    Hi,

I'm using WordPress 4.8.1 running Aspire Pro Theme. My text widgets are displaying this message:

"This widget may contain code that may work better in the new “Custom HTML” widget. How about trying that widget instead?"

If I add a new Text Widget or use the Custom HTML widget, I don't see that message but I also lose the option checkbox titled "Automatically add paragraphs".

I love having the option to "Automatically add paragraphs". Does anyone know how to bring back this option on the new Text Widgets? Was this a core change in WP?

    Thanks

If you want the old text widget back, you can use this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-text-widget/
