    Hi team,

    I'm trying to work out how to change the text that gets pulled through for the Featured Page widget on Authority Pro. I would prefer to write an excerpt that's used instead of just the text which starts from the heading.

    I've searched all over and can't seem to find anything. I'm also using Beaver Builder with the theme. Any ideas on what I might able to do?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Cheers,
    Nicole.

    If the widget is set to display content rather than a content limit, you would need to create a custom function to display the text you want and apply it through 'the_content' filter:

    add_filter( 'the_content', my_custom_text() );
    function my_custom_text( $post ) {
        $my_custom_text = "yadda, yadda, yadda";
        return $my_custom_text;
    }

    An alternative is to not use the widget at all and use a custom HTML widget instead.
