Is there a way to manage the background color of Front Page widgets in Author Pro (without using a page editor?)

I have 4 widgets on the front page, and want to stagger colors from light to dark to allow for visual contrast.

You have to use your browser's built-in inspection tool to find the class or ID of the area you want changed. Then, edit style-front.css to apply the color.

The inspection tool let's you test changes in your browser non-destructively. This means the changes are local to you only and will disappear when you refresh the page.
