Greetings: I need and would appreciate help creating the above fraction formula to add to style.css.

Brief history: I set up my draft site using the the genesis columns advanced plugin, which long after the fact I discovered broke the layout of the author pro 'books plugin' and made the attractive demo 2-col page layout into one. Apparently there was no easy cure for this.

So upon 'dis'abling gca to fix that page, then my important accordion dropdowns and front page widgets, etc. layouts broke. Support directed me to the built-in theme divs which I had totally missed, and they worked great for the common, available fractions on the front page widgets.

Issue: I had originally set up the design to use 3/5 + 2/5 in the accordion dropdowns using the gca plugin, which worked perfectly. Please see at the link (the topmost accordion entitled loosely'accordion manual div test') where all gca coding has been removed and the built-in divs of 1/2 1/2 are in use but don't allow the thumbnail rows to be 2+2 like they were; they are 3+1 on a computer (until of course a vertical column on smaller devices):

Accordion draft pg that needs the 3/5 2/5 code

Question: Is it possible to create and add that new 3/5 2/5 fraction formula in style.css (somehow)? If yes, can someone please instruction me how to do so? Why is 3/5 2/5 seldom used (though gca does); is there a reason I should know about the math not working well?

Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Hi Victor - To the rescue once again! Thank you so much for that very handy link, just brilliant on your part - solved the issue neat and quick. I have been enjoying experimenting this morning. And having read the comments on the page below the formula box, I knew I'd have to be adding a media query which he directs viewers to that appears to work beautifully so far.

I can't think of any reason to keep the original column classes on style.css (currently and temporarily commented out) so will delete them shortly.

Thank you again for that speedy, super referral which I will use over and over. Much appreciated, Victor.

Thank you, Victor, for your very useful link. I was able to format a page with 5 columns.
