I have set Aspire Pro to use a widgetized homepage and have removed all the default widgets that show automatically on theme set up in the Primary Sidebar (recent posts etc etc).

However, the Post Loop is showing up still after widget 13. I have checked the settings, and is usual, I set the site to use 'Posts' (not static page) but as said, they shouldn't show if I removed the junk from the primary sidebar.

I am baffled. Did I miss some theme setting somewhere? Anyone? Thanks!

Aspire Pro has a journal section on the front page that can be turned off in the WordPress customizer area.

Thanks Victor! Every theme is different! This wasn't flagged in the theme set-up so I missed it and wondered why my other correct setting weren't doing their job.
