    hey experts
    i m big fan of Gensis theme i need advises from Gensis experts who know it better and know seo too..so my question is when we adding filters to child theme function php is it affect seo...

    recently i added filter to remove published date and and author name info
    so if i remove it,could it affect seo...
    or are those filters just a tool to remove,,and is it still can reach by google and search engine bots?

    if bots can reach date and author info behind the sense that ca help

    so pls advice us if we add filters is that mean remove from seo or not

    Yes, it affects SEO. Keep in mind that all WordPress pages and posts are stored in the database until rendered by a call from the browser. Search bots simulate browser calls to render content for indexing. As such, the page is rendered with all of your content displayed as defined in system. Search bots do not read your database directly.
