    Hi,

I am trying to add more content sections to the homepage of my website.
The Inifinity Pro template comes with 7 sections and I would like 9.
    I tried a couple things -

    1. Creating new custom widgets and adding them to the widgets section - but this wasn't appearing on my live site.

    2. I have tried adding in the extra pages in the functions.php Editor but think I must be missing adding something to the parent theme css page.

I want one section to be an image and the next to be a white section - as per the flow of the original design.
    This is my website: http://varnacapital.com.au/

    Any suggestions?

For the widget areas, this should get you started in the right direction: https://victorfont.com/add-widget-areas-to-news-pro-theme/

To get the widget areas to display on the site, you have to edit front-page.php.

For colors and such, you need to edit the child theme's /lib/output.php.
