    Thank you for responding and for the helpful information!

    Right now, I see this is the functions.php file:

    //* Add new image sizes
    add_image_size( 'entry-image', 720, 300, 400, TRUE );

    and it corresponds to these options:

    IMAGE
    http://amaze-magazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Screen-Shot-2015-03-06-at-12.52.25-PM.png

    if I use the entry-image 720X300, all of the images are uniform on the homepage, but too short...

    If I use the medium 400 X 500 option (the size we want to use), all of the images are a different size...

    So is there something we can add to the functions.php area to make it so that it forces all images to be 400 wide X 500?

    And I did use the regenerate thumbnail plugins 🙂

    Thank you!

    Hi ~

    Any ideas on this? We are trying to get a site up and running on this theme, and we are waiting on this information... to clarify, we want to be able to upload any size image to appear on the actual post (we will always make them at least 400 wide, usually 800), but have it only show as a 400 wide X 300 on the homepage... right now, if we put in a 800 wide image X _____, it resizes it on the homepage inconsistently, thereby throwing off all of the text....

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the info! It is working now 🙂

    I have had to disable the template and all of the plugins twice to get it to work… there must have been some strange glitch 🙂

    Thank you for the information!

    I used the validator, and 2 errors came up, but I don't see where in the home.php or front-page-php to fix them… is there an easy way to find the errors in these files?

    the errors say:

    Error1
    Warning No DOCTYPE found! Checking XML syntax only.
    The DOCTYPE Declaration was not recognized or is missing. This probably means that the Formal Public Identifier contains a spelling error, or that the Declaration is not using correct syntax, or that your XML document is not using a DOCTYPE Declaration.
    Validation of the document has been skipped, and a simple check of the well-formedness of the XML syntax has been performed instead.
    Learn how to add a doctype to your document from our FAQ, or use the validator's option to validate your XML document against a specific Document Type
    Info No Character encoding declared at document level

    Error2
    No character encoding information was found within the document, either in an HTML meta element or an XML declaration. It is often recommended to declare the character encoding in the document itself, especially if there is a chance that the document will be read from or saved to disk, CD, etc.
    See this tutorial on character encoding for techniques and explanations.

    And if the errors are in the home.php or front-page-php, would this be an error in the template, as I did not change anything in those files? Thanks for you help 🙂

    When you are in Google Analytics - and follow these directions to add detailed Demographics and Interest Reports to the analytics admin:
    https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2444872?hl=en&utm_id=ad

    You then 'verify' the site in the analytics admin… to which it just keeps asking me to verify… vs the other site I have on another template, which verified with no problems… and I followed the exact same instructions (and have tried multiple times to make it work just in case I missed a step 🙂

    Thanks and thrive!
