Hi Dan,
For such a simple setup, we'd suggest the Members plugin by Justin Tadlock. It's a terrific free plugin that will let you create new user roles/capabilities. You can then manually (disable front-end registration) create new users, and assign them to a custom user role/capability that you've created. Finally, you'd restrict your content based on that user role/capability. For the reset password, you can use the default WordPress password reset form on wp-login.php. Hopefully this helps!

The Ultimate WooCommerce PluginNovember 22, 2017 at 12:54 pm in reply to: Genesis Responsive Slider – mix posts and custom post types #213872ultimatewooMemberHi, Tim. We actually just published a post today that will help you in what you're trying to do. While it doesn't use the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin, it handles creating a custom product slider using WooCommerce, and it appends the slider to the end of entries in Genesis. You can use it as a template on which to work out your own slider. I hope it helps - feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions.
