Anyone have any recommendations for a membership plugin that meets these requirements:

-- membership accounts are set up by admin (no self-registration)
-- handles around 100 individual membership accounts
-- invididual members can reset/retrieve their passwords themselves
-- members-only content is the same for all members and can be posts, pages, categories, etc.
-- plugin can be free or paid

    Hi Dan,

For such a simple setup, we'd suggest the Members plugin by Justin Tadlock. It's a terrific free plugin that will let you create new user roles/capabilities. You can then manually (disable front-end registration) create new users, and assign them to a custom user role/capability that you've created. Finally, you'd restrict your content based on that user role/capability. For the reset password, you can use the default WordPress password reset form on wp-login.php. Hopefully this helps!
