    That fixed it - Thank you Andrea!

    Thank you - I followed your instructions. I had to disable All in One Webmaster because teh "/> appeared to be hardcoded and I could not change it. Any ideas here in case I want to use it again later?

    The header issue was partially fixed - it definitely returned my full width white space, but it added the site title and tagline on top of my header image. Can you please tell me how to address this?

    I really appreciate your help!

    You can look at the site to see the issue http://www.xohawaii.com

    One more thing... the logo is no longer "clickable" - it used to redirect back to the home page when clicked on....

    Hi Guys - I tried what Andrea suggested again and it worked - the only problem is that it moved my logo all the way to the left. Can you tell me how to get it back flush with the navigation bar (the Travel Credit Cards navigation)

    Almost there... thanks for you help!

    Thank you both - sorry this is so difficult but i have tried both options above and neither work.

    Here is what I have at the bottom of my CSS - it used to work and create the white header background
    #header {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFF !important;
    border: none;
    width: 100%;
    }
    #header .wrap {
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 960px;
    }
    #header #title-area {
    background: url(http://www.milepro.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/milepro-logo.jpg) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; }

    It looks like somehow the bg-light.png background image from the wrap is over riding the plain white header background I am looking for.

    Any more ideas how to get the white header background back?

    Thank you Rob - I don't think I am doing a good job explaining what I am looking for, so I will provide an example
    I am trying to emulate the header of the geekwire

    http://www.geekwire.com/

    Do you notice how the wide header goes across the top, but the grey is still on the sides. this is what my site used to look like then it somehow changed with an upgrade. I am just trying to get the full width white header back
    Thank you

    One more thing - here is the code that I put at the bottom of the CSS orginally when it worked fine

    #header {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #fff !important;
    border: none;
    width: 100%;
    }

    #header .wrap {
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 960px;
    }
    #header #title-area {
    background: url(http://www.milepro.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/milepro-logo.jpg) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; }

    Thank you Rob- the change you suggested made the entire background white. I am just looking to make the header background area white. Can you please advise how to do that?
    Thank you!

    Thanks Anitac - actually that brings up a good point.  I really only need to sidebar shortened for pages where I am using the the Alternative Sidebar (via the Genesis Simple Sidebar plugin).

    Is there a way to have the standard  "content-sidebar" to have a sidebar width of 350   and any page with the alternative sidebar to have a sidebar width of 305?  I could even make the alternative sidebar be on the left and have the regular sidebar on the right.  Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you

    Thank you - Just to make sure I adjust the right line items, can you please confirm which items I would change if I wanted to reduce the sidebar by 50px and expand the content by 50px?

    Thank you

    Forgive me, but can you please add a little more detail.

    How do I get the sidebar on the left to be different from the standard sidebar widgets I have on all of the other posts?

    Any more detail would be appreciated.  I have installed simple sidebars, but the documentation around setting it up appears to be limited, unless I am missing it.

    I really appreciate the help!

    Hi Everyone - thank you for your help - I really appreciate it.

    I made a lot of progress with the plugin - the only thing I can't get it to redirect is my toplevel domain.

    I can get most of the posts to redirect, but can't get http://www.travelfreefaster.com to migrate to http://www.milepro.com? When I did a forward of the address from my web host, it would just forward any page or post from travelfreefaster.com to the home page of milepro.com - I didn't want that.

    Can you think of a way I can still have the individual posts forwarding to the new posts, as they are in the plugin, but also have the old home page forward to the new homepage?

    I really appreciate your help!

    I am sorry - Do you think I should use the plugin or modify the htacess file?   I will keep the old site live

    I probably have about 40 pages/posts I want to redirect

    for example:

    http://www.travelfreefaster.com/promotions-miles-points/airline/delta-promotions-coupons-discount-codes

    redirect to:

    http://www.milepro.com/travel-coupons/airline-offers/delta-airlines-skymile-promotions-deals/

    If I used the htaccess file, how would you suggest I do this?  Can you please show me what I would do?

    I really appreciate it!

    Thank you for the reply.

    I have tried to get backups multiple times from my provider but they are all old versions (i.e. from 2010) - I was very disappointed with how poorly the back up process worked at this provider.

    I have to assume the any recent version of the database is gone - I have a version that is 2 years old, with some of the posts, just not any from the last 2 years.    I also have all of the links to the posts both new and old.

    Is there a plugin or some other tool where I can put all of the links from the old site and redirect them to the corresponding page on the new site?

    Thank you very much.  That definitely address the sidebar issue.  The only challenge it created is that in addition to making the font orange and underlined within the post, it also made the links within the widgets on the home page orange bold and underlined.  Is there anyway to keep the change in the posts but not on the title heading on the homepage?

    Thank you!
