MemberHi Derek, I tried the examples for widgets that are provided. It doesn't look like the demo. It looks like there is css missing. Not sure why it wasn't included in the theme I bought. Traversing the css in this theme is rather difficult.

MemberI thought there may be a theme like "Jobify" on Themeforest, which is specific for a hiring agency. I have looked into plugins and Job Board Manager looks very useful. I guess I'll use one of my current themes and build it out that way. I'd like to remain on the Studiopress platform.

MemberHI Brad I'd like to do the same thing. Create a custom template page that all site pages use. I need to add a header under the menu, but at 100% width. I find that the theme I am using, site pages, are just to bland. Content would be below header image. My page is here: http://wickedtenants.com/news/.
Is the template to be edited in the theme or a part of genesis?
If I create a template how do I designate it so that all pages created will use it?
Thankstiki16
MemberI tested it with Firefox dev tools and used ruler. It appears to be more accurate with measuring page width than chrome. Where as, Chrome showed it as 1300pw wide FF ruler was more accurate at 1470px wide so I adjusted my media queries accordingly. What a headache.

MemberI changed the background color to blue when content width is at 1300px w. I can see this happen but when using google dev tool it shows the browser width as 1170px wide, so something is amiss?

MemberI have it inline with the other media queries. I think it may be that my css notation is incorrect.

MemberNo, actually I just removed the it from the functions file and enlarged and centered the home home-welcome widget.

MemberHi Cristoph should I edit the sticky-nav.js?
thankstiki16
MemberIt was like that right out of the box. So i doubt it is plugin related. Also, the home-image was wrapping under home-welcom text, so I just eliminated home-image and went with a a larger version of home-welcome. My guess is that there is javasricpt embedding the class into the div.
