There are a number of plug-ins available; rather than making a recommendation of one for you, here's a list of a number of them:
SusanModeratorGlad you got it figured out!
SusanModerator@smactastic - I'm a fan of Pretty Darn Cute's designs, and she has just released the MomPreneur StudioPress theme:
MomPreneur - it's definitely a feminine theme, but it's right up my alley. I don't currently own this theme, but I have Pretty Darn Cute's two other StudioPress themes, and have been really happy with them.

SusanModeratorTo get rid of the subscribe button:
Remove this from the page-title.php:
<a class=”page-title-button” href=”#”>’ . __( ’Subscribe Now’, ’minimum’ ) . ’</a>
SusanModeratorGreat tip, Anita - I've seen a few questions here asking for this information.
SusanModeratorYour site seems to have been restored. Were you able to figure out how to remove the author info?
SusanModeratorI'm not sure that your link is working correctly - it didn't take me to a site with the name I was expecting.
SusanModeratorDavid:
This tutorial might help: list posts by one category
SusanModeratorSusanModeratorTo answer the first question. Look for this in your stylesheet:
/* Post Info
------------------------------------------------------------ */.post-info {
color: #666;
font-size: 14px;
margin: -5px 0 15px;
text-transform: lowercase;
}
/* Post Meta
------------------------------------------------------------ */.post-meta {
border-top: 1px solid #ddd;
clear: both;
color: #666;
font-size: 14px;
padding: 5px 0 0;
text-transform: lowercase;
}Replace "lowercase" with "none".
As for the second question - I don't have an immediate answer, but think it can probably be done with the Genesis Simple Hooks plug-in:
SusanModeratorThis tutorial might help: link within the same page
SusanModeratorIt looks like your front page is a blog page. You can exclude categories from page under Dashboard > Genesis - Theme Settings > Blog Page > select which categories to include (or exclude).
SusanModeratorAnezkapaul - With your vast experience using StudioPress, maybe you'd like to help out at the forums by dropping by and answering some posts by other users? I've only had 3 months' experience with StudioPress, and I'm always looking to learn, so would love to see more input by users with much more experience.
SusanModeratorIf you are just looking to change the color of links, you could replace the #oo8dcf with the color of your choice:
/* Hyperlinks
------------------------------------------------------------ */a,
a:visited {
color: #008dcf;
text-decoration: none;
}a:hover {
text-decoration: underline;
}a img {
border: none;
}SusanModerator😉
SusanModeratorSounds like something a stripper uses! Thanks for the recommendation, Nick!
SusanModeratorI'm not sure if you did anything wrong, but go to Dashboard > General Settings > and add the full address (including the www.) to "Site Address (URL) "
More reading on the subject: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
If that doesn't work, then I recommend you enter a help ticket for assistance. Good luck!
SusanModeratorTry removing this part of your code:
add_action( ‘genesis_footer’, ‘custom_footer’ );
SusanModeratorTry this tutorial on adding an additional menu:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Navigation_Menus
It sounds like you've got the part about registering the menu - you just need to follow the steps to assign the menu. That tutorial should help.
