Are you using a Featured Post/Page widget in there? If you select "Show post/page title" in the widgeted area, rather than using the Title area of the widget itself, the title should be clickable.
SusanModeratorIn addition to answering questions around here, I also provide support over at the Pretty Darn Cute Help desk - if you wish, send me your user name and password over there (or contact me via the link in my signature), and I'd be happy to trouble shoot from within your site, if you're comfortable with doing so.
SusanModeratorI was using posts… should I create pages instead? And as far as the taxonomies and terms, etc. do I need to do something in that part of the slider settings to point the slider to the correct posts or pages?
You can use either posts or pages in your slider. You choose in "slider settings" whether to include posts or pages, and you chose what to include (or exclude) from the slider based on either terms, or page IDs.
I removed the pictures from the posts and uploaded them as featured images, and it doesn’t seem to have worked yet.
When you uploaded them as featured images, did you also chose them as featured images for your post or page? When you go to edit a post/page, do you see a thumbnail of the featured image on the side of your edit screen? Make sure the image shows there, so you know your post has a featured image associated with it.
April 28, 2013 at 5:37 pm in reply to: Can I make this site with Studio Press? (Having a nightmare here!) #38312SusanModeratorUsing the Genesis Responsive Slider, you can pull in pages, rather than posts - it's just a matter of indicating the screen ID of the pages you would like to include.
Yes, you can add a registration form to a widgeted area to the right of the slider (I'm not familiar with the plugin you are talking about, but you can definitely add a sign-up next to the slider).
I hope that helps!April 28, 2013 at 4:08 pm in reply to: Metro Theme – Demo Site Question Not Explained In "Set Up" #38279SusanModeratorSince this has been marked as "resolved", I will go ahead and close it.
SusanModeratorI have installed the Simple Social Icons on a number of sites using the Adorable theme (as your client's site is using), and haven't had this issue.
In the set-up for the plugin, you have the option to have 4 colors - two for the outer, and 2 for the inner - are you saying that the colors set in there are not working? Have you tried uninstalling the plugin and re installing?
SusanModeratorI think the Mindstream theme would be a nice one to work with - it has a gallery feature, so you can highlight different travel destinations in there, too.
SusanModeratorYou have marked this as resolved. Has it been resolved? I just want to make sure it's not an ignored thread because it has been marked "resolved".
SusanModeratorOn line 1720 of your stylesheet, look for this:
.lifestyle-blue #footer-widgets, .lifestyle-blue #footer { background-color: #576f8e; }
Change to the color of your choice.
SusanModeratorYou're welcome. 🙂
I'll go ahead and close this thread as "resolved".
SusanModeratorHi!
Although the Bee Crafty theme is retired, it doesn't mean it's no longer supported 🙂
To shift to a more traditional blog style functionality, you can go into your theme's folders on your hosting site, and rename your home.php (maybe call it "oldhome.php") - that will remove the home page functionality, and just gave you a blog-style site.

SusanModeratorTry this tutorial by Carrie Dils:
http://www.carriedils.com/genesis-theme-tutorial-primary-sidebar/SusanModeratorHi, Kim:
To adjust the width of your content and sidebar areas, you are going to need to look in a number of areas on your stylesheet.
To adjust the sidebar with, look for line 1140:
/* Primary / Secondary Sidebars ------------------------------------------------------------ */ .sidebar { display: inline; float: right; font-size: 13px; width: 300px; }
Adjust the width of your sidebar.
Then, depending on how much you adjust that down, you will want to make similar adjustments (up) to the following areas:
On line 589: (this controls the content width of your site if you have just the primary sidebar:.content-sidebar #content, .sidebar-content #content { width: 700px; }
Now, the Adorable theme also has the home page widget areas,
On line 1648, look for:/* Home Page Widgets ------------------------------------------------------------ */ #fefloat: left; atured-top { padding: 10px 0 0 0; width: 700px; } #featured-full { border-bottom: double #ddd; float: left; padding: 0; width: 700px; } #featured-top p, #featured-bottom-stuff p, #featured-full p { font-sittom-stuff { border-top: double #ddd; float: left; padding:ze: 14px; } #featured-bo 10px 0 0 0; width: 700px; } .featured-top-left { float: left; width: 340px; } .featured-top-right { float: right; width: 340px; } .featured-top-left .featuredpost { height: 420px; } .featured-top-right .featuredpost { height: 420px; } #featured-top .wrap, #featured-full .wrap, #featured-bottom-stuff .wrap { margin: 0; padding: 5px 0 0 0; } #featured-top p, #featured-bottom p, #featured-bottom-stuff p { margin: 0; padding: 5px 0 0 0; } #featured-full .widget, #featured-top .widget, #featured-bottom-stuff .widget { margin: 0 0 15px 0; padding: 0; } .featured-bottom-left { float: left; width: 340px; } .featured-bottom-right { float: right; width: 340px; }
You'll need to adjust the widths in each of those areas, keeping in mind that for the featured top and bottoms, you will only make 1/2 the adjustments (for example, if you widen your content by 100px, you will only want to make each of the featured top and bottom areas 50px wider).

SusanModeratorKim - I wasn't available last night to provide support - I will take a look at your site this evening, and give you some direction.
As Anita (and Lindsey) pointed out, changing the width of a site is not in the realm of support, but is "customization", so support for that isn't automatically guaranteed, but we try to help out as we can...
SusanModeratorThanks, Anita - I responded to Steve's question through the Restored316 support desk last night, so I will go ahead and close this thread.
SusanModeratorYou would put the code snippet (with your modification of text as appropriate) in your functions.php file, not your stylesheet.
As always, when adding code to your .php file, make sure you have backed up your site, and have a fresh copy of your functions file available to restore as need be.
SusanModeratorHere are the code snippets to modify the breadcrumbs:
