studiozenParticipant
Thanks Victor.
I hate it when stupid little things like this waste my time!
I'm not using any cache actually, although I know I want to to reduce load time.
I'm thinking it's the plugin, because it's the only page doing that and that page is created by a comments plugin.
I think I'm just going to leave it. I don't want to waste time on such a minor thing. But, it does get to me every once in a while!
studiozenParticipantI just checked my page again and it's stopped redirecting. I think it was probably something in my database because I added something to the field, saved it. And then deleted it again and saved it. And now it works, i.e. it's not redirecting.
studiozenParticipantI used redirect using the Genesis field, "custom redirect url". But, it's blank and it's still redirecting, weeks after it's been deleted. I've tried different computers so I know it's not my cache.
I want to check what the database says even though it's blank in the WordPress front end.
studiozenParticipantYou're right, thanks!
I though re-loading it is enough. It is for my desktop. Didn't have to use ctrl-F5. Is there a similar thing (as ctrl-Ft) to do on mobile without going to a mobile viewer?
studiozenParticipantYour actual contact page looks good. But, when used on the home page it looks off (the input fields, I mean).
Also, you put a captcha on your contact page, which is good. But, your footer has an email address. Unless it's created in javascript, you're still going to get a lot of spam. Although, not 100% sure now if people know how to spam even if it's javascript.
studiozenParticipantI like to use Bullet Proof Security. It has an option to backup your site periodically. Although, I've never had to restore my site. But, it has the option to do so.
I love this plugin, it can backup your mysql database and htaccess files as well if you want to do those separately. Plus, it's an amazing security plugin too.
But, I would say it has a bit of a learning curve, only because it's got so many features. Still, the support from the developer is incredible. I can't say enough of this guy.
studiozenParticipantThanks.
Although, I just discovered that the plugin already incorporated this. There is a checkbox option on the right hand side when editing a page and it says, "Disable Share Buttons".
studiozenParticipantI figured it out. It's in the CSS, home-section-5, background-color.
studiozenParticipantThanks! It was in the Genesis Theme Settings.
studiozenParticipantThanks!
studiozenParticipantSince no license key is required (I guess I forgot), if I were to sell a website with Genesis and one child theme installed, can I tell the buyer they would get lifetime updates of the Genesis framework and child theme since I bought the lifetime updates (Pro Plus package)?

In my case, I want to find the one that was used in a Genesis Simple Sidebars location I created. I know I could normally find it in the Widgets section, but, assume I moved a site to a new domain and the import (or export) didn't capture the sidebars. I created custom text for particular pages that I want to copy over. I still have access to the original database, which is why I'm asking this question.
studiozenParticipantOh, right. Thanks! I've been working too long!
