Participant(by moderately works I mean that the buttons that had a link to that page now work, but top menu item doesn't)
I'm changing page name back to "registration" page- and resetting in buddypress because I'm no longer seeing registration form either.
thanks for taking a look

ParticipantVictor,
That moderately works. I saved them as post_34342 and then re-saved with post-name.
Still can't get to "access" page (in top menu) even when I enter url directly in address bar....

ParticipantI restored backup but still don't know what went wrong. Going to try again tomorrow. Sorry for the incredibly uncompiled inquiry.

Participant(I wish we could edit these!) Now none of the front page images are loading. Can't for the life of me figure out why.

ParticipantThanks Victor- I didn't get that piece of knowledge.
So where do the setting for archive pages get defined?? Just in css?spiezz
ParticipantThanks Victor!
I'm not sure how to actually solve the problem though. The designer has all menu items with different backgrounds so I can't just apply it to the class.
How do I apply to each individual link without just adding it to the

Many Thanks!

Thank you so much!!

ParticipantWow. That's a great resource- thank you!
I definitely configured widget content with that. I do still want both the author and date info but this guide doesn't show me where or how I remove the "by" bit of text though...
Is there a plugin css file that I should look at or is that on genesis lockdown?
Thanks,

Participant( I also tried it in simple edits header field and plain ol' functions.php to no avail.)

ParticipantOkay, I did set up [post_date] [post_author_posts_link] in genesis_after_entry_content hook, so it's working on the blog page. The front page is a different story- it has it's own functions php (monochrome pro) but this snippet doesn't seem to work when I put it in that file.
??
Thank you

ParticipantThat is not a pass to backend! It's only for viewing.
My question is not about entry header- it's about added text in byline.
Thanks.
To view (not access backend)

Thank you sooo much!

ParticipantBaz,
Doesn't seem to work- very similar to what I have installed from Victors' suggestion above-
//* Modify read more link add_filter( 'get_the_content_more_link','new_read_more_link' ); function new_read_more_link() { return '... <a class="more-link" href="' . get_permalink() . '">Read More »</a>'; }
So still at a loss why it's working for front-page posts but not 'all posts'.

ParticipantVictor,
Thanks for this!
If I remove 'show_user_profile' will legitimate users have access to their wp account page that lists purchases etc???
Thanks

ParticipantVictor, Thanks for this! I just tried it and am still getting randos galore signing up for my site's blog. So it's doesn't seem to be working- even though akismet is set up and enabled.
Any other ideas?
Where is this even set in the admin?
Thanks

ParticipantThanks so much Victor!
I shuddered when looking at the css in the woocommerce plugin. So for the naysayers, there is a great use for that "extra css" customization after all!
