Hi Victor,

Thanks for your reply. Can you please help me with a bit more information on this. If I understand it well, I will have to:

1. Copy the front-page template to something like custom-hp.php and choose that from the dropdown under Templates option inside WP Dashboard >> Page creation UI (in fact, is there anything I should ignore from this template.. I mean any code snippet, etc.)

But then how do I ensure that the new homepage looks more like a typical WordPress Page?

Yes.. I did have a look at this.. But in regards to Genesis, I'm not very sure how to go about this..

He has a plugin also for this.. But it has some bugs.
