    Hi,

Can someone help on how to add captcha to comments? I went through Chip Bennett's guide over here http://www.chipbennett.net/2010/07/29/using-really-simple-captcha-plugin-for-comments/ but it's not very specific for Genesis.

Can someone help in adding captcha to Genesis theme?

I used this - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recaptcha/. Not only can you add it to your comments, but also to your login screen. Adding the captcha there helps to prevent spammers and bots from getting into your site by adding an extra layer of security (it's just one of the things, but works great for me.)

If you have any caching plugins installed, clear your cache too. It actually took a couple hours before the bot stopped but I haven't had any more problems since I installed them.
