How do I change from WP-cycle to Genesis Responsive Slider in the Crystal Child Theme?

I tried to put Genesis Responsive Slider into the correct widget-box but the WP-cycle still remains there. How to remove the default WP-cycle slider?

Thanks guys for tips. I try to follow you directions.

The problem is that the letter spacing within the table is much greater than in the text outside the table. When I change the CSS in the theme text both inside and outside the table change. I can't find the styling part within the genesis child theme. If that is not the place what remains is CSS within TablePress. Where should I look?

Thanks for a quick reply. Your tips helped. In fact the problem was not caused by the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin but the ordinary CSS: style.css:

Here:

I just needed to change the background setting into this:

/* Objects
--------------------------------------------- */

iframe,

.wp-caption {
max-width: 100%;
}

img {
background-color:transparent;
height: auto;
width: auto; /* IE8 */
}

/* Forms

And that change also fixed all other transparent pictures in the whole site.
