Just a quick update, in case anyone else experiences this. Updating the child theme was going to be labor intensive due to customizations.

Solution found in an old thread - answer by nutandbolts

The menu items not working on the iphone were all placeholders using custom links; the solution was I did NOT have # in the url as a placeholder. Once that was added - voila!

Are you asking how to place an image on another page, similar to that of the front page hero? If so, go to the page and use the Featured Image. May need to mess with size to fit.

Sorry, the section I'm referring to is the Our Work section in the demo. When you hover over the images, the post appears behind it. Can that area be made a different color

I have eliminated the error message, however the background image is still on other pages.
I have copied from Theme Functions (functions.php) and pasted into front-page.php.
I deleted from functions.php

I think I was missing two { {

I had the same thing happen, only on line 44. I think there was too many { or not enough. I deleted the theme and reloaded. Going to take a break. Code is mind blowing,

I have the same question. I don't know coding, I tried to paste the code at the end of the template and got an error and then pasted in the beginning and got an error. Can you tell me where, exactly, does the new code get pasted? I don't see in the code template anything to replace.
