Thanks! I figured that managing the xml inclusion/exclusion was nice, but Yoast does seem to slow things down.
quickquestionMemberHi Marlene,
Did you solve this?
I tried the text-indent trick, but it moves the dashicon too. (I think because dashicons count as fonts, not images).
The trick seems to work if you use css classes to add an image icon - I didn't have any luck with dashicons though.
Thanks,
quickquestionMemberHi Andrea,
I have the same question and am not sure how to implement -- I know how to use anchor links, but don't know where to put them.
For example, I've followed the Centric theme setup instructions and now -- in the Homepage section Home 2 -- I have three Featured Page widgets. I'd like to use the arrow to move from one Featured Page down to the next.
Where do I put the anchor links?
Thanks in advance
quickquestionMemberHi Jeremy,
Thanks for the advice. This technique works for creating a default layout for the individual posts -- but not the homepage, which stays in two-column format.
Any thoughts on getting this to work on the homepage too?
Thanks again,
quickquestionMemberHi Susan,
Thanks for the quick reply!
When I uncheck 'show post title' all my links disappear.
I tried using the 'display unordered list' part of the widget and 'show post title' checked. This shows my links and gives me the look I want, but it requires that I specify at least one post under "number of posts to show," which displays one headline with an h2 class. (which I don't want.)
Not sure I'm being clear. What I want is a Widget Title and an unordered list of links from a specific category that looks like the 'Recent Posts' widget output.
Make sense? Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it
