MemberNo - the responsive slider should resize the image to suit the dimensions that are set under Genesis > Slider Settings.
@qed2u thanks for your response, but it's not actually helpful. The plugin should resize the images according to the settings.PLUS the text is cut off at the bottom - so this is clearly an issue with the plugin NOT my image sizes.
Help here would be appreciated if anyone has a solution

MemberThanks nutsandbolts, but I was hoping someone here might be able to help me with a bit of quick code... much like I do for others as much as I possibly can.
Anyone else got any suggestions?

MemberHi there Justin
Install My Custom CSS plugin and add this code to it:
.wp-about-author-pic {
border: 0;
}that will get rid of the outside border and make it look just fine!

Have you tried re-saving the offending posts after you set the permalinks?
If not, I'd try that first.

MemberHi there
The short answer is no... that container doesn't come standard with Fabric theme.
BUT it's simply a widget area placed at the top of the page - so this can be done with any theme you like.
You can use this guide here: http://www.briangardner.com/welcome-text-widget/ to style something similar for your theme.

MemberI often use Picture Resize Genius from lonking.com (not an affiliate)
It's quick and easy and will do bulk image resize, rename and more
I can usually do a few hundred images in around 15 seconds!

MemberYeah I've been a wpmu member for nearly 4 years now... I jumped on the multisite bandwagon before it became part of WP. I just LARVE it!
So are you telling me the special is over?
I'm in the process of putting together my 3rd local business multisite (my first is now the largest website in it's niche in Australia... woohoo!) - and was looking to grab the special for Help Scout next week when I can breathe again after the launch!
I might just email you for a chat!

MemberAs far as I can see the image in the background of the slider isn't on any of the other pages.
If you are talking about this image:
url('http://www.higherfocusart.com/ambc/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/slidebg1.png') no-repeat !important
... then it's in the right place.
If you aren't meaning that image - can you tell us which image and which page you are seeing it in the background of the content areas?

MemberOk let's try another approach... add this to your style.css
.size-medium.wp-image-178.alignright { margin-right: 50px; margin-top: 45px; }
And that should absolutely do the trick - it's css JUST for that one image.
Lemmee know how ya go!
