Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMembergood to hear you're getting the hang out of it 🙂
best put the code at the bottom to make sure it comes through... css rules are applied from top to bottom but the bottom rules are finally applied (hence Cascading Style Sheets 😉 )
If there's anything else, just holla 🙂

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberyou won't find it in your default style.css because it's an element you created yourself 🙂
you need to add the extra style option at the bottom of your styles.css
I can't seem to find text-48 on your homepage but I do find text-46 (i'll take that as an example)
add this code to your style.css and change the id accordingly then :
for the widget itself :
div#text-46 { background : red; //* or some HEX combo like #4F3245 }
to target the title of that same widget :
div#text-46 h4.widget-title { font-size: 16px; //* and whatever textstyles you want to add :) }
I hope you get the picture like this 🙂

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberyou're welcome 🙂
If I may give some advice : change 1 thing at a time and then check back on your page to see what changed 🙂
Don't go changing 10 things because it'll be harder to see what changed because of which css code 🙂If there's anything else, just let us know 🙂

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberyou should be able to target the widget's seperately via their ID.
which widgets are you talking about? Then I can direct you a bit better (I hope 😉 )
Trying to craft webstuff at Photastic Webdesign
Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberthat's because they are all in their own <p> tag (which isn't bad by itself) but here too your css is causing the big spaces :
.entry-content p { margin: 0 0 25px; }
this line makes for a bottom margin of 25 pixels below every p you use in your .entry-content divs.
or you remove that part of css or you lower the 25px to a smaller number to suite your taste 🙂

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberpossible that you placed a text widget inside "ez-home-middle-2" with a link to that site but no text in it?
I would clear the "ez-home-middle-2" widget and fill it up from scratsch again. I think somethink went wrong there...
Look at the source of the website the link where your News item is pointing to, is spread out over your page.So check out those widgets and fill them up all over?

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberI think you should try to rephrase your problem... looking at your site but can't figure out what exactly you are talking about...

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMembercheck your other post : http://www.studiopress.community/topic/prose-question-how-to-change-post-title-font-size/#post-57682 😉

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMembertry adding something like this to your css file :
div.post h2.entry-title { font-size: 16px; //* or whatever size you want }
that should change something 😉

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMember1. didn't notice any issues while scrolling up & down (really madly scrolling that is)
2. your images need resizing... for example : the "workplace" image is 2496x1664 pixels large and a whopping 2.49 megabytes... Resize them accordingly and they will pop on your screen much quicker.(possibly this also causes your scrolling problem as loading all those images requires bandwidth and makes your web experience less fluid)

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberLooks like this is being caused by this part of css :
.entry-content p { margin: 0 0 25px; line-height: 1px !important; }
the line-height is only 1px makes the text overlap. adjust that part to for example :
line-height; 1em !important
and you'll see the text jump 🙂

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsAugust 20, 2013 at 1:50 pm in reply to: Removing reduntant post title links on a category page #57649photasticMembertry adding this code to your functions.php file :
/** * Filter Genesis H1 Post Titles to remove link * */ add_filter( 'genesis_post_title_output', 'ac_post_title_output', 15 ); function ac_post_title_output( $title ) { $title = sprintf( '<h1>%s</h1>', apply_filters( 'genesis_post_title_text', get_the_title() ) ); return $title; }
Tried it on my testsite running Genesis 2 with the Genesis Sample theme.
You can off course adjust the h1 with a css class to allow further editing...

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberI have my own cloudbox hosting at versio.nl (Netherlands based host) and I limit the amount of concurrent sites on it to keep performance up.
So if you don't mind getting a dutch or belgian ip, you can always get in touch with me... Prices start at 35 € a year including 1 domain name (not sure if I'm allowed to advertise myself this way so if it's against forum policy, I'll be glad to edit my post)

Learning Genesis by solving unanswered topicsphotasticMemberstrange stuff... indeed, now I see that it exists on the site but not in your copied code...
try putting your functions.php code between code tags here on the forum... Then it should come over and then the links aren't parsed either...
