Thanks for your prompt answer!
Implementation as you posted it is clear to me.
I don't mean to bother, but I still don't understand the basic principle of this function.
Does it mean I can add any (custom) DIV inside of that array?
Does the order of that array plays any role in placing of those structural elements?
For example, if I insert custom 'someID' in that array, it should appear in document source as<div #someID></div>
, correct?
I appreciate your input and your time you take to answer.Regards.
pdvorMemberHello sebgates,
Would you be so kind and tell me how you solved this issue?
Your question #52306 was what I have to deal with now.
Regards.pdvorMemberNice site.
If I can suggest, did you optimized your images for the web? I test downloaded one of your icon (SpringHasSprung) and its larger version and I think they are quite large. 33KB and 317 KB respectively.I wouldn't post any image larger than 40 to 60 KB especially when there are more than few of them. Even very large ones I would try to keep under 100.
But this will solve probably only part of your problem.
pdvorMemberMaybe if I set the page for full page with no columns I could load in an artsy collage that will take up virtually the whole Home Page.
I think it is doable. I have no experience with this particular theme, but when looked at its demo at http://demo.studiopress.com/education/layouts/fwc/ , it looks as all you need to do is set your home page to be static page, one column only, turn off breadcrumbs and use Genesis Simple Hooks plugin to insert full width slider before the title.
I think so, but it might be much more difficult then I think.pdvorMemberI hope I'm not misunderstanding anything here. But if WP is stripping out the code, why is his iframe tag placed inside of paragraph tag. That isn't right. To me WP is generating unnecessary code, which I had opportunity to see many times when I relied on visual editor, instead of HTML.
Also as I've said, his iframe does not have any size info. Shouldn't this be easy and quick to fix by addressing these two things in page editor?
But than again I might be wrong. I'm quite new in WP world and much newer in Genesis.pdvorMemberSorry about that. My first post on this forum.
Your code:
"<p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/z3Ht0rU4NSg?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0"></iframe></p>"YT embed code without paragraph tags:
"<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/z3Ht0rU4NSg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>"pdvorMember@buddy boy
Your HTML code looks weird. Even though I have only basic HTML knowledge, I would not place
inside of
element. This should be easily fixed in your page editor.
Your existing code bellow, doesn't say anything about the size either, so I guess it defaults to smallest size:
Try to open your page editor and replace it with this one, copied straight from YT:
Just don't place it in anything less than div element.
I don't think this is Genesis fault. It is WordPress bug. It creates weird unnecessary code behind the scenes.I hope my advice is not wrong, I'm realy not an expert.
