I'm confused because Genesis is showing version 2.10.1 for me.

It just hosed one of my other sites too, I thought. That site is on PHP 7.2.7.

Thought I was going to have to do a restore but it turns out it just deactivated the Dynamik child theme and Genesis took over. Activated the child theme and it was fine. Whew!

What version are you referring to with 5.4.8.3. Is that a PHP version or something else?

All I have found is that your PHP version is related to the crashes. Updating helped me at least.

Also, I updated 9 other sites and all were fine with the Genesis upgrade.

Still wondering why the manual download was showing 2.10.0 but the WP autoupdater is showing 2.10.1.

    Update:
I went into my WP dashboard and this time around it popped up a message saying that an update from PHP 5.6 though 7.2 was available. I pulled the trigger and went big for the 7.2 update. The lo and behold Genesis installed with only one error that scared me. After a refresh it was fine.

Next up, figuring out why Backup Buddy is causing the same white screen failure.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. But also sorry you guys are going through this nightmare too!

Hope we get an answer soon.
