I'm running into a related problem. I used the instructions for "Option 6" in this post: http://keypresswp.com/getting-your-head-around-header-images/
I now have responsive headers on both of my sites: patientambition.com and researchteacher.com
The problem is that when I try to upload an updated header (larger dimensions, different text) it doesn't appear on the site. As per the instructions above I am uploading the new headers to the "images" folder in the "metro-pro" folder on each website via Filezilla FTP. I've tried refreshing the pages, clearing the cache/history, deleting and re-uploading the files and deleting and re-inserting the code from the instructions above. I'm still seeing the initial header that I first uploaded. Any advice as to what I can do to fix this would be appreciated.
nick42983MemberCraig, many thanks for your prompt and thorough reply. I will try these solutions out.
One problem I am already running into is with the images. I removed the width and height attributes and it does scale, but this also eliminated the caption. When I re-inserted the caption, it makes the image wide and clipped again. Is it possible to also have the caption scale?
nick42983MemberHello, I am having the same issue with the Prose theme. Both my header and post images are being clipped in Mobile. I've looked at the site on my iPhone 4S and iPad Mini. The text, menus and widgets all seem to be mobile responsive. I tried uploading the header as a png, jpeg and tiff file, but all were clipped.
my site is: http://www.researchteacher.com
