    Just wanted to say thanks for this thread, and for taking the time to post your solution in such detail. I wanted to do the same thing: reverse the hover effect on the modern portfolio theme.

    I was able to follow along and make the changes in just a few minutes. Much appreciated!

    Oh, right, yes, good point. I can see now that I've already updated to 2.3.1 on a different site I run.

    The problem site is on a fairly secure school server, so I wouldn't be surprised if permissions are causing the issue. I actually don't have FTP access to it at the moment, although the auto-updates have worked fine until now.

    I'll see what Studio Press support says about it and go from there.

    Thanks for your thoughts, though. Much appreciated!

    Okay, will do, thanks.

    Looking at it a bit more closely, I wonder if PCLZIP and bad format implies that something is not set up correctly with the ZIP file?
