That confuses me . . . I had sized the css code to 1140 x 200 and my image is 1140 x 200. Do I reduce my image or the css code? If the css code won't it just cut out more of my image?

I've seen other people with bigger header images then I'm using (height) and I can't figure out how they are doing it.

I followed the instructions you gave above, resized my custom header to 1140 x 200 and removed the padding. When I upload my image it does not ask me to crop but stretches it on the page. Is there a way to correct this?

    My blog is at: http://www.mothernaturesessentialoils.com

Thank you in advance for your help!

How did you get your header to be so large in the theme. I changed my settings to 1140 x 200 and my image. When I upload the image it doesn't ask me to crop it but it stretches it out of the size given. You can see my blog at

I've spent a lot of time playing with it. If I shrink the header image even smaller it does the same thing.

I've seen other headers like yours where the header is even larger than the one I'm trying to create.

Thank you in advance for your help!!

usmcwife01 - I just checkout your blog and I'm trying to get my header to be larger like yours is. All I can get is a very small image when I upload it to the header. How did you do it?
