Thanks, Tom. And everyone else. This has been a big help for me in understand the pros/cons of using various themes for Woocommerce functionality under Genesis framework.
Much appreciated.
maincontrolMemberThe Woocommerce themes here...
http://genesisthemes.ca/theme_feature/woocommerce-integration/
do not require the Genesis Woocommerce Connect plugin? And do not require one to alter CSS to get full Woocommerce functionality?
I ask because I implemented Ayoshop and it required all kinds of plugins.
maincontrolMemberOK, I've received some helpful replies. But I have one more filter...
With or without http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-connect-woocommerce/ , is there a way to get a WooCommerce-based site using Genesis framework where I do NOT have to deal with CSS to get full WooCommerce functionality?
I sure hope so. Otherwise Studiopress has work to do yet.
maincontrolMemberproducts that I also sell on Amazon. Categories such as ....
Sports & Outdoors
Kitchen & Dining
Toys & Games
Beauty (particularly skin care products)I understand where you are going with this question (different WooCommerce themes depending on product type). But functionality, ease of use are my top concerns. In fact, that is why my ecommerce site MUST be a Genesis child theme.
maincontrolMembersame question. But I'd like my header to be 800 x 150
