I need a suggestion for the easiest WooCommerce-ready theme to use with the genesis framework for which I am licensed. I'd prefer a free child theme but I will go with paid if it means an easy and relatively pain-free experience. I am licensed for Agency but dislike it (could never get custom logo image to work).

    Thank you

What type of products will you be selling? That might help with thinking of presentation.

products that I also sell on Amazon. Categories such as ....

    Sports & Outdoors
    Kitchen & Dining
    Toys & Games
    Beauty (particularly skin care products)

I understand where you are going with this question (different WooCommerce themes depending on product type). But functionality, ease of use are my top concerns. In fact, that is why my ecommerce site MUST be a Genesis child theme.

You can use any Genesis theme with woo commerce and this plugin:

    Genesis Connect for WooCommerce

There is no genesis themes that is easier or more integrated than another.

OK, I've received some helpful replies. But I have one more filter...

With or without http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-connect-woocommerce/ , is there a way to get a WooCommerce-based site using Genesis framework where I do NOT have to deal with CSS to get full WooCommerce functionality?

I sure hope so. Otherwise Studiopress has work to do yet.

Follow what Andrea has shown with Genesis Connect, then choose a theme.
Here are 20 or so designed for Woocommerce:

If you want to use another theme not specifically designed for Woocommerce it will work but you would have to accept the default styling or get into the CSS

    The Woocommerce themes here...

    http://genesisthemes.ca/theme_feature/woocommerce-integration/

do not require the Genesis Woocommerce Connect plugin? And do not require one to alter CSS to get full Woocommerce functionality?

I ask because I implemented Ayoshop and it required all kinds of plugins.

The themes listed are designed by the theme authors for use with Woocommerce. These themes may also require other plugins according to the theme. You should refer to the theme documentation to be sure/for more details. Other themes will work with Woocommerce, but might not *look* as integrated with the theme so, yes, you may have to style with CSS.

As Andrea noted "You can use any Genesis theme with woo commerce and this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-connect-woocommerce/
There is no genesis themes that is easier or more integrated than another." - so, officially, you should use Genesis Connect for Woocommerce when you are using Genesis and Woocommerce.

An alternative is offered by Tony Eppright if you want to get into the code:

Thanks, Tom. And everyone else. This has been a big help for me in understand the pros/cons of using various themes for Woocommerce functionality under Genesis framework.

    Much appreciated.
