MemberHello guys,
Can someone please help me.
In the three home widget areas (left, middle, right) Is it possible to have 5 widgets instead of only 3? If I try to put more than one in each section, it shows them in two rows and I only want one. I presume I also need to change the thumbnail sizes but not sure how to make them smaller than 150x150.Edited: I am using Genesis Featured page in each widget area.
My site is http://hooza.co.uk and I am wanting to use this widget area as a menu with thumbnails instead of words. Thanks in advance!

MemberHi Magz,
Although this can be done by registering a new widget, I think the easiest way to do this without touching your functions and home php is to:
1. Change the width of the home left widget to around 900px in your css.
2. Use column classes with 5 columns to set up your content in a text widget.
3. Link your images to whatever page you choose.
Hope that helps a bit

ParticipantOr you could simply use the native gallery in WordPress with 5 columns and link each image to any custom url.
Then install a plugin to link each image to a custom url.

MemberThank you to both of you.
I have never worked with column classes before, so could you walk me through exactly what and where to code?
Thanks so much!
Edited: I've figured out how to do it 🙂

MemberActually, if anyone can help me out.
I used Robin's method, but when I look at it on my phone or tablet, the images are not resized and not showing in a row. They are huge and taking up nearly the whole screen each.
Help???

MemberYour images are huge because you're linking to images that measure 1600x1600. You need to resize and link to featured images that measure the same size as they appear on your home page..more like thumbnail size 150x150 or 160x160.
On your phone, the images will not be rendered in a horizontal row, they will show up in a vertical column because of Agency theme responsiveness.
