MemberOMG Victor! That was so obvious and easy! I totally didn't see that there, and I've been trying to solve this for like 2 hours! You made my night. Thank you!

MemberHI, I am looking to do the same thing. Did you ever end up figuring it out @CodingNewbie?
kristamackinnon
MemberThe site is password protected right now so can't share link, its in dev.
I followed the instructions on Centric Pro exactly but my social icons don't look like the demo. That is my problem. In the demo, they are circles and white, and even though I followed the instructions identically, my icons are small grey squares.kristamackinnon
MemberDuh- I figured it out. It was checked in menu settings and it was also in the header widget.
kristamackinnon
MemberYes thank you. That is exactly what I am trying to do.
kristamackinnon
MemberYes, I mean link to them. The centric theme demo has a landing page that shows three posts with images, those posts- I would like to link to landing pages.

Those posts are now organized by "featured posts" but I would like those pages to link to premise based landing pages.

MemberYes, genesis simple edits worked. I removed the short code in the post info section via genesis simple edits. Thanks!

MemberSo, if I want to remove the author line, what should I do? I don't want to edit the Genesis file if I don't have to...
kristamackinnon
MemberYes thank you! I found it!

MemberI just figured out what the problem is I think- I don't see that. I don't have editor as an option. But perhaps it is bvecause I am using wordpress MultiSite.
kristamackinnon
MemberThat is what I keep reading, but I don't see "Appearance, Editor" where is it?
Under appearance i see:
themes
customize
widgets
menuswhen I click on customize I only get options: site title, navigation, status front page
Where is "editor" ?

MemberHow did you figure it out? I am having same problem.
kristamackinnon
MemberHi Have this same problem. It happened when I updated to the newest Genesis, which no longer uses "enable fancy dropdowns" How do I get my drop downs back in the newest version of Genesis?
kristamackinnon
Memberoh cool.
will genesis theme break when I update wp? last time i updated I lost my menus.kristamackinnon
MemberI am using eleven40.
I realized that I am using multisite- and so I had to go into network settings to find the file. All that was offered to me for editing was the home, theme functions, and CSS sheet. I need to globally remove the date stamp on all posts. I am using "LearnDash" wordpress Learning management system, and on the courses page, it lists the dates posted, even though I have used simple hooks to remove the date stamp elsewhere.
The support from LearnDash said I might need to edit my archives.php file, but I believe that would be found in the Genesis PhP files, which we are not supposed to edit.
Suggestions? Thoughts?
