Trying to do something similar. I want to upload an image to use in my header for the logo but I have to crop it. How can I upload without having to crop?
September 17, 2013 at 10:15 am in reply to: Move Title Next to Tumbnail Image on Archive / Category page? #62996krbishopMemberSorry.. it is not a live site barddalton but essentially it is the Executive theme.
Trying to move position on the headline and/or thumbnail image so headline is not above the thumbnail:
http://demo.studiopress.com/executive/templates/blog/krbishopMemberHello - Where can I find the 'Custom Redirect URL' field? Is that a plugin? ...
UPDATE: Nevermind... I found it in Yoast SEO box 🙂
krbishopMemberActually.... that plugin isn't functioning. I see it in the widget but when I enter a URL it still isn't click-able.... DARN! Works in the other widgets but not the Featured Amplified widget. man I want my cake and I want to eat it to!
I want a widget with a click-able, edit-able header with an excerpt! 🙂
krbishopMemberActually that plugin solved the issue. Thank you braddalton
krbishopMemberThank you for the feedback.
Makes sense anitac. The reason I don't want to use the title from the page is because I want to change it slightly for the widget.
I am using the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin but it works the same way. If I add a title it is not clickable. If use the exsisting title it is clickable. Unless I am missing something?
krbishopMemberThank you. I don't want it to be a background image. I need the image to actually be in the HTML code. There are some changes I plan on making and having it as background image will not work. How can I edit the actual header HTML? thank you
