Memberthat worked perfectly! thanks a bunch you saved my life
kletcetera
Memberthanks dcason I'll try that. Just have to save previous css and re-type all the customizations manually. I guess that's a lesson learned for trying beta versions on a live site!

MemberOk I used the converter and copy pasted.. nothing has changed so far. By the way in the style.css file it says the site is on beta1, but it is not.

MemberThx David! works perfectly, although it changed my background a bit but I can fix this myself some day that I'm not lazy. Also thanks for the advice

MemberI personally use W3 total cache and it works very well. It's tough to setup by yourself but there's some guides out there on how to set it up. Can't remember which one I followed 🙁
After setting w3 total cache my site speed went from 56/100 to 94/100 on google site speed test

MemberDepends on the site, I normally have from 5 to 10 plugins. If you can code something manually I suggest doing that instead of getting a plugin. Also deactivate and remove every single plugin you don't need.
Too many plugins can slow your site down, type in google ''google site speed test'' they'ill test your site and give you a rating. By deleting useless plugins I moved up a few points. Obvious the best gains in spped were obtained by using W3 total cache setup correctly but that's another topic.
