I installed this plugin so my site would load faster. But it takes awhile to update a page when new posts come in prob like an hour or so. Depending on which browser i'm using.

I'm not sure if I have the proper settings. I set it to clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated. But doesn't seem to work. I have the garbage settings set on default just wanna know if i'm missing something Thanks.

I use Super Cache on a couple of my sites. I use it when I want more control, otherwise I like Quick Cache, which is the easiest to use. I also use the setting that you do, to have the cache clear when making a new Post.

Problems like these are difficult to diagnose, as they're complex. You may indeed be experiencing browser issues. I find that Safari is the most irritating, even without Super Cache involved. I'll make a change on a site for a client, and they'll tell me, no, nothing's different. And then FINALLY Safari will pick up the change, maybe days later. With Super Cache going, who knows when? There are commands that can sometimes override its silly cache, but many users don't know them. And that's true of other browsers, too. And then there are other complications that you can't control, like a user's DNS caching on their hardware, which also can be doggedly persistent. Fun, eh?

My best suggestion is to just relax and wait a bit, unless you want to find out the "ultimate kill cache" commands and run them all the time.

I personally use W3 total cache and it works very well. It's tough to setup by yourself but there's some guides out there on how to set it up. Can't remember which one I followed ๐Ÿ™

After setting w3 total cache my site speed went from 56/100 to 94/100 on google site speed test

I use this plugin without any problems. My settings are close to this post as described by my host. It's one of those things I have been able to set and forget.
