MemberYou are a lifesaver. Thank you! I would have never figured that out. I knew I had the stacking order correct but couldn't determine why the logo was getting cut off. Thanks again.
Kevin
Memberyes, I've tried everything that I can think of. For some reason, the blue background from the nav-primary will not go behind the logo no matter how I set the z-index.
Kevin
MemberThank you!
Kevin
MemberThank you. That worked but the menu doesn't push the image down it drops in front of it
Kevin
Member🙂 Good point. Thanks
Kevin
MemberThanks for looking into this and providing the code Dave,
I'll try it and see how it looks.Kevin
MemberThank you.
Kevin
MemberThink I got it-added this to my custom css and it worked.
.soliloquy-container {overflow: hidden!important;}
Is this the proper way to do this? Seems kind of 'hacked'Kevin
MemberThanks for all the help Tom. I knew it would be an ambitious project but I will learn a hell of a lot so it will be worth it (hopefully) I will look into everything you said. If I am successful, I'll try to document my process/ mistakes and let others know/ learn as well.
Kevin
MemberDamn. Never noticed that. Thank you (especially for the quick response)
Kevin
MemberThanks Ken. I'll bring that to my client's attention and get his thoughts.
Kevin
MemberThis looks good but it doesn't capture the name and company name.
Kevin
Memberok - I did nothing and now they are showing in the backend. Gremlins??
Kevin
MemberThanks. It's strange because all the menus function on the front end but are not manageable on the backend
Kevin
MemberNope-always used executive pro
Kevin
MemberIf I just add the background to the link, it works:
.header-image .site-title a { display: block; background: url(http://perocchiarbitration.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/pam-logo2.png)no-repeat; max-width: 437px; height: 97px; float: left; margin-top: 10px; overflow: hidden; }
I'm guessing because it was the background for 3 different classes, it was showing up 3 times? Any thoughts just so I understand what was happening?
Kevin
MemberIf I remove the margin-top: 10px the image shows as one image and looks correct.
Kevin
MemberDid both those and still showing as 3 stacked images. It's strange. The logo doesn't show on IE. I'll try starting over maybe I did something wrong
Kevin
MemberAs mentioned above, this is on a local server. I will try to set up on a live server asap
Kevin
MemberThis is a site for an industrial company I'm developing (not completed yet) using executive-pro. Has some nice features
