    Turns out it was a plugin conflict. Deactivated my plugins and simply renamed the folder with everything working well now. Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for the reply. I have changed the few lines at the top of the css page. What I wanted to do was change the name on the child theme folder itself so that when someone checks my site with developer tools it shows as my theme name rather than Agency-Pro. When I go inside my public folder on my hosting account and change the theme name there it is causing weird problems with my site. The main issue is that my site navigation will not show even though I have my menu widget in place just as before . Then when I change the name back to agency pro the navigation works again it is really annoying can't figure it out seems like a PHP problem. Any ideas anyone?

    This is the way I add logo image to genesis child themes.....On your homepage there is horizontal black bar at the top..hover over your website name and in the dropdown menu click customize>Header image>Add new image>Upload files> select file and crop>crop>save and publish
