3. Can I have a slight transparency to the main text area? Just to show the background image a little more?

MemberThanks everyone.
Anita, is that something I can add to the code of the site? I am a bit of a novice to be honest...

MemberSorry, I am trying to make this site (not finished) here: http://nblc.dev.fweb.com.au/joining/
... have a white, semi-transparent box for the content area. This will help make the text 'pop' a little more, but still show off the background image.
Does that make sense?

MemberThank you Eamon, that was very helpful. One last thing and I am there...
I changed the background easily enough but cannot seem to work out how to change the other menu colours to make them visible: http://karmafitness.com.au/wp/
I had a look around the coding for the navigation menu and I changed the odd colour here and there,. but couldnt find the one I wanted to change... the font colour. I really just want the text colour to be black in the navigation bar, then I am good. I had a hunt around and couldn't find the right coding to change.

MemberThank you for that, I will have a play.
Is there an easy way for the line numbers (ie 969) to be displayed? I cannot see where this can be done.

MemberHello,
Thanks so much for all your comments and suggestions. Here is a screenshot of the site, is this what its supposed to look like before content is added?

MemberI have tried it multiple times! I am really at a loss... I am using a Mac and Firefox. Could that be my issue?
