I made the changes to the style.css but now I get a database connection error whenever I try to visit the site. Could a few css changes screw up the database?
JGableMemberOk then that would explain a lot of things. I will go back and add the changes to the style.css file and see if that fixes everything. Thanks again.

Here is what the header looks like when viewed on a desktop.

http://thestonestore.com/sswp/wp-content/uploads/header-on-phone.jpgThey would prefer to just display the logo (without the background) when its viewed on the mobile phone. I have the logo without the background, that I could use, I'm just not sure how or where to put it in the code to make it work.
Thank you for helping me Andrea.JGableMemberI too am trying to do something similar and I'm running into the same issue. Have you been able to figure out how to make it work yet? My client wants a full width header that becomes just a simple logo when viewed on small screens but so far none of the workarounds suggested in this forum are accomplishing the task. I love the Studio Press themes but can't get them to look right without hacking the code somewhere or loading up a bunch of plugins.
