March 20, 2017 at 12:50 pm in reply to: Align the logo and navigation menu in one line (Gallery Pro) #203486iondoagaParticipant
I changed the suggested tags and this aligned the logo and menu navigation in one line. However, they are not moved entirely to right and left.
I play with the numbers in suggeted css code but nothing seems to push to the lateral of website container to the left and to the right.
Do you have a clue how to do that?

iondoagaParticipantThanks!
iondoagaParticipantIs there a preferable size for images that will look good on every screen?
iondoagaParticipantGot it!
Thanks for suggestions.

July 31, 2016 at 9:17 am in reply to: Updating to Genesis 2.3.0: Is it safe? Can it break my site? #190528iondoagaParticipantWhat does this message mean "Updating Genesis will overwrite the current installed version of Genesis"?
I have made a few tweaks in colors, font sizes. After the update will all the tweaks lost and I'll have to do them again?
iondoagaParticipantThanks David for your helpful reply.
I changed the code, but now I have too much white space on the sides. Can you tell me where I can minimize the white background width?
February 29, 2016 at 10:49 pm in reply to: Is it safe to update my wordpress to Genesis 2.2.6 ? #180305iondoagaParticipantThanks Victor! It works fine after the update.
iondoagaParticipantHello @Sonia,
I followed your instructions and now the website looks like I wanted. Can you also tell me how to minimize the hight of the nav-primary and nav-secondary?
Thanks!
iondoagaParticipantGreat idea @gscoolidge. I will give it a try.
iondoagaParticipantHi @gscoolidge,
No, I didn't figure it out yet. Now my secondary nav bar is side to side, but I want it shorter than the primary nav bar. I want to start from the beginning of the body and end where the sidebar ends.
Do you have a clue how to do so?
iondoagaParticipantHi @braddalton! You're probably right, but they are not as interactive as this one. Here you can faster get a reply to your question.
iondoagaParticipantUpdate:
I also see this when I run my website through Google Speed Insights:

iondoagaParticipantDoes it looks fine now?
iondoagaParticipantThanks @Derek for the article. It was useful reading it. I agree that Yoast SEO Plugin has a lot more powerful features in terms of SEO. Optimizing posts until you hit the green lights is one of them.
There are so many things to do after the post was written, that I can easily miss on a few things. And Yoast SEO Plugin reminds me that there is still work to do on the post.
iondoagaParticipantBy the way, shouldn't all the widgets in Genesis sample theme apear in boxes in the sidebar? @frobn do you have the code for making widgets appear in white boxes exactley as the posts in the body?
iondoagaParticipantOh, I wasn't making a difference between headings and body. I know made the correct changes to the body font and headings font, and it looks well.
Thanks Victor!
